If you are restricting carbs wrap your burger in leaf lettuce, eat it "open faced" or eliminate the bun.

Ingredients

1⁄4cgreen onion (thinly sliced)
1⁄2ccelery (finely chopped)
2 apples (peeled and diced)
1tbspextra virgin olive oil
1 1⁄2lbground turkey breast
  salt and pepper (to taste)
1tsptabasco sauce
1 lemon (grated zest and juiced)
1Tfresh dill (chopped)
1⁄4cMajor Grey chutney
1 avocado (sliced)
6 whole wheat buns

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet on medium high heat.  Saute the onion, celery and apples until soft.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey with the sauteed ingredients and then mix in remaining ingredients.
  3. Form into patties.
  4. Place the burgers on a preheated grill and and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Place on bun along with sliced avocado and desired condiments.
